How it started
Humans have been travelling since inception, before the advent of civilisations even before we were humans itself. The primates the hominids and also the humans travelled. The purpose of travel has changed through ages rather evolved as has humans.
We no longer travel for food, neither do we travel for land for grazing meadows, or precious stones or to just carry trade items. We travel for leisure for pleasure may be even purposelessly just for enjoyment. With fulfilment of basic needs our life has become complex with increased stress and anxiety. We run across time targets with purpose most of our life. Thus each one of us has the need of travelling free without purpose, travel for travel sake.
Why do I travel. And why do people travel. Still different men and women travel out of different reasons based on their nature. A portion do yet travel out of necessity as resources are not equally distributed amongst the global populace.
History & Nature: My Travel Mottos
Me a doctor has been wandering places now since the past few years. Certainly few not many I would tell. That is because I comprehend the total insignificance of my life time. It is so as I feel the vastness of evolution, the evolution of man, life forms, the earth and even the universe. Being a keen student of nature I am also amazed at the history around us, even the proto and prehistory.
Though a strong atheist I visit places of worship , mostly ones where previous generations did. Just like I roam places they lived. Thus I try to understand human life & nature with equal vigour. I am sometimes to places in Bengal like Murshidabad, Burdwan, Midnapore, Bankura, Purulia or to states like Jharkhand , Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala, Delhi or Rajasthan.
Why fundamental : Get to Travel in Nature
Also I am amazed at the way we cling to things to relations to posessions feeling them as eternal. And we fight over culture, race, nations, ideals and religion, only to be erased and moved to the annals of history. To be replaced by new evolved ones.
Why this scribble about Travel & Nature
Be with me to places not much well known at times, even to places just around you as i try to learn how civilizations thrived. I also do appreciate the beauty of nature.
This humble effort is to gather together such places without being fundamental. Also I do appreciate the pain my wife and friends took to bear with me in these wanderings of mine. Gratitude to all concerned.
Hope I will continue my travel in years to come and keep you updated about new horizons often.
Be with me and enjoy if you like to
With love for the inquisitive mind of yours
